Turn TXT into Word right in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, no account is needed, and the file downloads the moment it is ready.
Wraps plain text in a standard document format.

Plain text is taken literally. A line beginning with # stays a line beginning with #, because a .txt file has no markup to interpret — nothing is silently promoted into a heading, a list or a link, and blank lines are all that separate one paragraph from the next.
A genuine .docx — not HTML wearing a Word extension. Heading levels show up in the navigation pane, lists use real numbering definitions, tables keep their header row, and the file opens cleanly in Word, WPS and Google Docs.
.txtRelease notes 2026-08
# not a heading, just a hash
Two spaces stay two spaces.
- looks like a list item
.docxparagraph — "Release notes 2026-08"
paragraph — "# not a heading, just a hash Two spaces st…"
paragraph — "- looks like a list item"
Both sides were produced by the converter on this page — the same code that runs when you drop your own file in.
A .docx is a zipped document, not text — so this lists what the file actually contains, read back out of its XML.
Source and target arrive already set to TXT → Word. There is nothing to configure.
One file at a time. You can also type straight into the editor and watch the preview keep up.
The result shows up in the preview pane first, so you can check it before the .docx file lands in your downloads.
